L'Oréal hip duo eyeshadows review

Hey beauties!! So I picked these duos up from rite aid yesterday. It was the last day for the bogo sell of all l'oréal products. After all the reviews I've seen on these saying how pigmented they are and how much color they provide...I got them and for 8.00 a piece with 50% off another so 12.00 for two of these. Ill be honest and say I'm disappointed. I have bought much cheaper products and they r way more pigmented then these are. I was expecting an easy swatch not a hard more than one swipe swatch. Smh so sad. Now I'm mad that I bought four of them. For 24.00 I cudve gotten a MAC piece or more than a few nyx shadows ...let me know what u guys have experienced with these

34 pc makeup brush set on amazon/ebay

Ok so I just did some research on some new brushes... I looked on nyx website and MAC. I had a order all set and ready to check out on the nyx website, which totaled up to 148 not including S&H. But before I order something I always go and check YouTube for reviews on products,which really helps a lot. So I saw in the search box 34 brush set from eBay. I clicked it and what I saw I wanted right away!! Lol I've never ordered from eBay so I checked out amazon and they have it to. It's a 34 pc brush set for $30-39!! I saw some good reviews on it and some bad like every product but more good then bad. This set includes so many brushes and that's exactly what I need. I want to order two of them but ill stick to one for now until I get that one and review for myself. So stay tuned for my review on that product and go check it out yourself!!!!

I'm back!!!!!

Well I've been off the map for a while!!!!! so I'm just posting to let you beauties know that I'm back and will be posting many on new posts from now! My phone was broken and I had to do an insurance claim. So I just got my new phone,so anyway, I have picked up so many new products in the mean time and I ordered Avons new foundation and powder so I will have that tonight to review about. Then afterwork today I'm going to rite aid to pick up more of the wetnwild colorstay lipsticks. I have fallen in love with them! They really do last much longer than my nyx lipsticks but they r all mattes so a gloss is a must have with this lippie. Go check them out while the sale is on they are 2.99 and buy one get one free. Lata!!!!

My makeup collection/storage

Ok so over the past year I have acquired a lot of makeup and I love every piece of it !! I'm not a big MAC cosmetics buyer or sephora or whatever the reason being is I have 3 growing boys and a family to take care of. So I beauty supply and drugstore shop for makeup along with some Avon here and there. And doing so I have a lot of very good products. My fav company is NYX cosmetics I love all of their products down to the concealers and lashes. So in this post I will show pics of my collection and how I have it stored.

My makeup storage

I found these stackable drawers at family dollar for only four dollars apiece!! and they are soooo cute!! very roomy and sturdy and they click together to make them sturdy when stacked together. I got the first one to put my forever growing lipstick collection and then want back and got the second one for my growing blush collection! yea I'm a blush whore lol lol so I hope they keep those in stock cuz I will be going back to get more as my collection grows. but just in case I'm thinking about goin back next week and getting like 3 or 4 more just to make sure I have them when I need one. what do u guys think???

Blush blush and more blush!!!!!

Blush may come as a cream, gel (mousse), or powder. Cream or gel blush has better staying power, while powder blush comes in larger variety of shades. On bare skin or over foundation you may use any texture, according to your preference; however, if you use facial powder, then applying powder blush on top is your only choice.

Products with a dual function—such as blush and lip colour—are designed to accelerate makeup application. However, these products are more properly classified as stain rather than blush, because staining is exactly what they do. Stain as a blush may be a good choice for oily skin, but it doesn’t usually contain the oils essential for hydration and well-being of the lips.

Colour

Your choice of blush colour will firstly depend on your complexion—light, medium, or dark—and secondly on the look you want to achieve—fresh or structured, natural or made-up.

If you wish to add some freshness and a healthy glow to your face, choose a shade from the cool palette. Any kind of pink is a good choice for lighter complexions, while cool berries and plum shades will work for deeper skin tones. Don’t use cool blush with lipsticks in brown or orange shades.

Warm-coloured blush with orange undertones is best for contouring the cheeks, giving definition to the face. Choose a shade ranging from delicate apricot, for a fair complexion, to burnt orange, for a deep skin tone. Don’t use brown or orange blush with lipsticks in cool shades.

Shades between the cool and warm palettes are universal; they suit any complexion, and go with any lip colour. Peachy for light skin, rosewood for medium skin, or red for dark or black skin; these are a must-have for every woman.

Natural shades such as nude, beige, or brown are mostly neutral or warm-coloured. They have a low concentration of red pigments, and are therefore well-suited to application all over the cheeks, essentially serving as bronzers rather than blushers.

If you really know what you are doing, you may use two blushers; a dark warm or natural shade for contouring, and a light pink or neutral shade to add a healthy glow. Blush with light shimmer will add luminosity to your face, and looks especially good with evening makeup, but don’t overdo it on oily skin or plump cheeks.

Application

Liquid or creamy blush is usually applied with the fingers on bare skin or on top of foundation. Powder blush is applied with a medium-sized flat brush on top of your facial powder. You may apply powder blush on bare skin or over foundation, but be sure to take the blush sparingly on a very soft brush so it doesn’t streak. Add a thin layer and blend to see how you like the brightness, then add more if necessary (you may use a different shade) and blend again.

NK HD single eyeshadows

I have bought almost all of these eyeshadows and I love them all!!!  These shadows are very pigmented and with my Jesse girl eyeshadow  primer last me all day! They come in mattes and shimmers and range from neutrals to very bright neon colors. Now these shadows don't have names they go by numbers and my personal fav is no. 3016 which I use for my work and  everyday neutral look. Then to mention that the price is VERY cheap for the quality of these shadows only 1.49 and even as low as .99cents at various beauty supplies. So please ladies run to ur local beauty supply store and pick up a few or all of these shadows!!!!!!!!!
