Being a freelance mac artist ...

I have learned so much about the industry that I have longed to work within. I love my job and I enjoy it especially when I am able to do makeup all day long. Sure there are your irritating customers and irritating situations I am put in. But I wudnt want to do anything. I just have to get use to the hours and working so many days in a row when I am use to working 3 days 12hrs. It seems like I am not home alot now. But when u love what u do it doesn't matter, right? I'm just working on building my kit and perfecting my skills more and more with each client.

Been a while. ..

I know if had been a while since I've posted on my Blog but I made a promise to myself to make sure I keep updating and posting v at least 3x a week so HERE WE GO!

Candy yum yum!!

I was looking for dupes in this lipstick but I finally broke down and paid the 15.00 for this beautiful color.  I must day that I'm so glad I did!  I can't wait to do some tutorials with this look!  I'm already putting together outfits for this color.  I'm very pleased with the pigmentation and I love matte lipsticks so this color is perfect for me.  Now the thing is making sure you have the guts to rock it!  Any skin tone can wear this if it's worn right.  A deep plum or purple lip liner looks really good with this Lippe! I hope you girls enjoy it! !and for those of you that don't have it GO GET  IT!!!

As you can see they look similar especially when they are not side by side, but next to each other they are totally different! I love all of these palettes and decided to show you what some of you are missing out on!

The eyes!!!

Eye Makeup Tip: Apply two coats of mascara, but make sure to allow the first coat to dry prior to the second coat. This will avoid clumping.

Eye Care Tip: You can use cool cucumber slices to reduce eye puffiness and dark circles.

Creating the sophisticated look

1. Apply a light eyeshadow over your entire eyelid from lash line to eyebrow bone, but not beyond.

2. Define the crease of your eyelid using a medium or dark shade. The deeper the shade, the more dramatic look.

3. To open up your eyes so that they appear livelier, place a dot of a light shade in the inner corner of each eye.

Tip: When choosing an eyeshadow shade, keep in mind that a pastel shade will look softer while a darker shade will appear more dramatic when applied.
